For nearly two decades, Stephanie Klasky-Gamer’s nonprofit leadership has helped LA Family Housing transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of Angelenos by advancing a simple and urgent mission of helping people transition out of homelessness and poverty and into permanent housing and greater stability.
Since becoming president and CEO of LA Family Housing in January 2007, Klasky-Gamer has helped transform the organization into one of Los Angeles County’s largest homeless service providers and a leading developer of permanent, supportive, and affordable homes. Her nearly 30-year career in social and economic justice has uniquely positioned her to lead in solutions to some of Los Angeles’ most complex challenges.
