Valley Economic Alliance
As president and chief executive of the Valley Economic Alliance since 2020, Sonya Blake has focused on initiatives to strengthen the San Fernando Valley’s economy and quality of life. Under her leadership, the Sherman Oaks-based Valley Alliance has expanded its no-cost Business Assistance Program and launched workforce-readiness and regional-investment initiatives. She has spearheaded infrastructure planning with partners like the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, LA28, the Van Nuys Airport and the Sepulveda Basin Master Plan.
