In 1992, Lloyd Greif founded Greif & Co., a downtown firm dubbed “The Entrepreneur’s Investment Bank,” after a successful career as vice chairman of Sutro & Co. Inc., the oldest investment banking firm in the West. In one of his most recent deals, Greif secured a nine-figure investment for San Jose-based Trinamix, landing growth equity from Bay Area investor AEA Elevate.
