Rappaport is a real estate investor and the founder of Westside Estate Agency, one of the largest privately held residential brokerages on the West Coast boasting annual sales in excess of $3 billion. He founded the firm in 1999 along with Stephen Shapiro. Today, it has offices in Beverly Hills, Malibu and Miami. Rappaport represented Oakley founder James Jannard in selling his Malibu mansion last year for $210 million, which is the largest residential transaction in California history to date, and broke Rappaport’s previous record of $190 million when he sold Jay-Z and Beyonce a Malibu home in 2023. He’s also a real estate investor and owner of Funke Beverly Hills, a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant. Rappaport donated $1 million to wildfire relief efforts earlier this year.
