CO Architects
Knudsen, the managing principal of CO Architects, has led award-winning, large-scale academic, laboratory and health care projects on university and health care campuses across the country. CO Architects ranked No. 2 on the Business Journal’s list of architecture firms based on last year’s billings in the county. Knudsen was instrumental in transitioning the firm from computer-aided design to building-information modeling. Last month, the doors opened on the eight-story, 350,000-square-foot Hope Plaza outpatient tower on the Duarte flagship campus of the City of Hope; CO Architects co-designed the project. The firm has also designed several campus modernizations for the Los Angeles Unified School District.
