Valley Economic Alliance
Blake is the chief executive and president of the Valley Economic Alliance, where she facilitates economic development in the San Fernando Valley. Since she took on the role in 2020 the VEA has expanded its no-cost Business Assistance Program, launched new events and initiatives and worked to connect stakeholders with resources during the Covid-19 pandemic. She has also worked with L.A. Metro, LA28, Van Nuys Airport and the Sepulveda Basin Master Plan to further economic growth in the region. She previously served as the director of community business in the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development. She has also held leadership roles at the Inter-Agency Council, NAWBO-LA and Santa Monica College’s Foundation.
