Parent is the vice chair of worldwide production at Legendary Entertainment, overseeing all aspects of film, television, digital, mobile and new media. For the Burbank entertainment company, she has produced the films “Dune” and “Dune Part Two,” among others. Prior to joining Legendary in 2016, Parent was with Disruption Entertainment and before that was chair of worldwide production for MGM. Before joining MGM in 2008, Parent had spent nine years at Universal Pictures, where she rose through the ranks to eventually become vice chair of worldwide production. In 2015, she was among the producers who won the BAFTA Best Picture category for “The Revenant.” The film was also nominated that year for Best Picture at the Academy Awards but lost to “Spotlight.”
