As Houlihan Lokey’s chief executive and a member of the firm’s board of directors, Adelson manages the Beverly Hills investment bank’s operations, strategy development and client relationships. Houlihan Lokey is the No. 1 investment bank for total global M&A transactions by LSEG Research and Analytics. Adelson previously served as the firm’s co-president and global co-head of corporate finance and has vast experience with mergers, acquisitions and debt and equity capital strategies. Before joining Houlihan Lokey 35 years ago, Adelson founded a number of companies across various industries, including food and clothing. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and created a fund for the University of Chicago’s Poverty Lab.
