The existing property was outdated and in bad condition, necessitating a buyer with a vision for redevelopment. The site’s proximity to key ÿber lines and the presence of the city of Vernon’s own power company made it an ideal location for a data center, adding to its strategic value. The CBRE team leveraged their extensive network to target developers interested in data center projects, ultimately securing a commit-ted buyer. Despite the lengthy escrow process, the buyer remained committed. The buyer plans to transform the outdated site into a state-of-the-art data center, which will signiÿcantly enhance the area’s infrastruc-ture and economic potential. This redevelop-ment aligns with modern technological needs and represents a forward-thinking investment in the community.
