In-N-Out To Move to Baldwin Park

In-N-Out Burger will relocate its West Coast headquarters back to Baldwin Park and shut down its Irvine corporate operations.

In-N-Out Burger is on the move.

The Irvine-based burger chain said that it would close its Orange County corporate offices by the end of 2029 and relocate them – and its West Coast headquarters – to Baldwin Park, in Los Angeles County.

Lynsi Snyder, owner and president of In-N-Out Burger and granddaughter of company founders Harry and Esther Snyder, said that in every decision she makes about the company she considers what her grandparents and family would think is best for it.

“I know my family would be in support of this move because it brings our In-N-Out family back together in a way that helps us better serve our customers, who are the most important priority,” Snyder said in a statement.

The move will bring the burger chain back to its roots. In-N-Out Burger began in Baldwin Park in 1948 as California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand. Today, In-N-Out has more than 400 locations.

With the closure of the Irvine office in 2029, the majority of In-N-Out’s corporate associates will be located either in Baldwin Park or Franklin, Tennessee, where a new eastern territory office is under construction.

“Some of our associates will be relocating to Tennessee, which makes it even more important to centralize our western headquarters in one location, and our company’s deepest roots are in Baldwin Park,” Snyder said in her statement.

Snyder lives in Glendora, a short drive from Baldwin Park. She was listed at No. 16 on last year’s Wealthiest Angelenos list with a net worth of $6.1 billion.
