Terrence Franklin has over three decades of experience handling some of the most significant and complex trusts and estates litigation. He has successfully represented beneficiaries, trustees, individuals and institutional clients in matters involving substantial assets.
Franklin worked pro bono on one of the most important housing discrimination cases in Los Angeles County, with the Independent Commission investigating the LA Police Department. He is also responsible for several published appeals and the landmark Moeller v. Superior Court case, which was brought before the California Supreme Court and established a fiduciary exception to the attorney- client privilege for successor trustees. He has served as chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity Committee of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
