Hegarty has been with Marsh McLennan since 2008. As principal and managing director of the Los Angeles office, Hegarty oversees the firm’s growth. He specializes in employee benefits programs for midsize to large companies and works with clients to build employee benefits programs focused on improving the employee experience and driving retention and recruiting efforts. Over the years, he’s worked with such industries as apparel, entertainment, hospitality, manufacturing and technology. He was instrumental in developing the company’s technology trust called Benefits Tech Trust. The program is a Department of Labor-qualified small business trust designed to serve emerging technology organizations.
