Zimmer drives what is Hollywood’s third largest talent agency with 2,000 employees. UTA is in an expansion mode after arranging an investment in July from EQT Private Equity, which became its largest outside shareholder. The talent agency, entertainment and sports company opened an office in suddenly red-hot Atlanta in March, which becomes its sixth office city, and created a fashion division in Feburary. In the past year, Zimmer bulked up the core talent representation business with the acquisitions of publishing agency Fletcher & Co. and leading UK talent and literary agency Curtis Brown Group.
