Viviano, who has led Children’s Hospital Los Angeles since late 2015, has achieved successive top-10 national rankings on the U.S. News Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll, operated one of the largest pediatric residency and fellowship training programs in the country and remained a top children’s hospital recipient of federal research funding. Viviano oversees one of the West Coast’s largest children’s hospitals and one that treats the majority of children who require complex care in Los Angeles County. Viviano also is on the California Hospital Association board and executive committee and is chair of the board of trustees at Loyola Marymount University in Westchester.
