Sloan is a founder, company chief executive and an investor in the
media, entertainment and technology industries. He is a former chair
and chief executive of MGM Studios Inc. Sloan is the vice chair of
DraftKings and has long been involved in the video gaming industry
in addition to his post with investment firm Eagle Equity. He was one
of the founding investors and a board member of Zenimax/Bethesda
Game Studios, the studio acquired by Microsoft in March 2021. Sloan
co-founded Soaring Eagle Acquisition Corp., which had its $1.73 billion
IPO in February 2021 and later merged with Boston-based Ginkgo
Bioworks Inc. in a deal valued at $17.5 billion.
