Mapleton Investments is a diversified investment holding company that manages a range of global ventures. The market value of its portfolio last year was more than $570 million. Prior to founding Mapleton in 1999, Nathanson founded and led Falcon Cable TV, which he sold in 1999 to computer billionaire Paul Allen for $3.7 billion. A longtime donor to the Democrats, Nathanson was nominated by President Biden as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Norway in October. Nathanson has more than 25 years of foreign policy and public diplomacy experience.
