The Media Relations Department of the Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau provides assistance to working press filing stories about Los Angeles as a travel destination. We offer the following services to help with story development:
City Information
We will keep you up to date with unique story ideas, contact information, and regular update mailings. Contact us for the latest news on attractions, hotels and special events, or to get answers to your Los Angeles questions.
Comprehensive Press Materials
The Media Relations department provides press information kits with releases covering all aspects of Los Angeles. Included are the LACVB’s comprehensive visitor publications, Destination Los Angeles and six visitor pocket guides covering Downtown, Hollywood, Beverly Hills & the Westside, Beach Cities, Shopping and Dining & Nightlife. We also offer background information on many LA communities.
Assistance with Press Visits
Let us know when you are arriving, and we will put you in touch with the people who can make your visit more productive.
Photo library
We offer a comprehensive collection of 35mm color slides showing the best of what LA has to offer. Slides are available on loan to the media for use in stories.
Video footage
Beta SP format stock footage of Los Angeles area sights is available on loan to broadcast journalists.
