Richard Young, MD, joined Emanate Health as the medical director for the Neurointerventional Program in 2018 after he completed his Neurointerventional Fellowship from UCLA. He is also an accomplished neurosurgeon who focuses on cerebral vascular disease. He has accomplished much as a private practice neurosurgeon with Inland Neurosurgery Institute, becoming a partner in two years. As a fellowship-trained neurointerventionalist, he has brought a medical subspecialty that was lacking in the San Gabriel Valley. He is a surgeon who can perform both minimally invasive surgery for the blood vessels of the brain and open brain surgery when needed.
