Edward P. Roski Jr., president and chairman of City of Industry-based Majestic Realty Co., was awarded the Circle of Honor Award from the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation last week in Los Angeles. Roski founded the Majestic Realty Foundation in 2002 as part of his philanthropy work. The organization’s work focuses on youth, family, education, health and violence prevention. Roski also founded the Land of the Free Foundation in 2007, which has contributed more than $10 million to military service members and their families. The award is the highest honor given by the foundation, which has a membership made up exclusively of recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor for military valor. Roski is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, with two Purple Hearts for injuries sustained in combat.
