Chief Executive, California Community Foundation
Antonia Hernández is a nationally recognized expert in the fields of social justice and philanthropy. She joined the California Community Foundation as president and chief executive in 2004 from her post as president and general counsel of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund. She began her legal career as a staff attorney with the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice. Hernández is a board member of the American Automobile Association, Council of Foundations, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Grameen America, and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
