Many features of Circus Disco will be spared as developers build hundreds of new apartments on the site, the Los Angeles Times reports. Under the agreement, AvalonBay Communities has promised to incorporate many of the features of the gay disco, including the dance floor, neon ceiling lights and clown entrance into the development.
