Quixote Studios of West Hollywood has purchased Movie Movers, a Sun Valley production equipment firm, Quixote announced Wednesday.

Quixote operates three studio facilities used to shoot TV, film and commercial productions and rents production vehicles and trailers. Movie Movers also rents production vehicles and trailers.

The combined companies now have about 200 employees, 150 production trucks and about 450 trailers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“The Movie Movers acquisition culminates a long-term strategy to provide the highest-quality trailers to the film and TV marketplace,” Mikel Elliott, chief executive at Quixote Studios, said in a statement.
