Sales of guns and ammo have ramped up dramatically in California following last month's Connecticut school shooting and subsequent calls for tightened gun-control measures, the Los Angeles Daily News reports, with manufacturers and retailers scrambling to keep up with the demand. A group led by Sen. Dianne Feinstein unveiled legislation Thursday to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines nationwide.
