The Gores Group on Monday said that its new Small Capitalization Partners fund has completed the acquisition of DMN Ltd. in the United Kingdom.

DMN, which is based in Swindon and in business since 1989, provides mobile communications network engineering support and staffing services in the area of wireless infrastructure.

The Westwood private equity firm led by billionaire Alec Gores did not disclose terms of the deal but said it was done in partnership with DMN managing director David Matton.

“DMN has built a strong reputation as a key provider of engineering and project management services to the mobile communications industry in the U.K.,” Victor C. Otley III, Gores managing director, said in a statement. “The mobile infrastructure market is enjoying growth driven by the expanding demand for mobile bandwidth and the technologies that support it.”
