Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Agency has decided to renew the contract with CBS Outdoor to sell advertising on Los Angeles County buses and trains.

The MTA board on Thursday voted 7-2 to approve CBS' $110 million bid for a five-year renewal contract that starts next year.

CBS, a New York division of CBS Corp. has had the contract for more than three decades and its bid was backed by MTA staff. The award came after a challenge from Titan, a New York-based outdoor advertising firm.
