Advanced Modern Technologies Corp. which designs and makes automatic dispensing washroom fixtures, announced the completion of an equity investment from a private investment group. The amount invested was not disclosed.

The private investment group includes George Patrick Murphy, former chief executive of Technical Concepts LLC, a global supplier of automatic washroom fixtures. Murphy, who earlier held management positions at Kimberly-Clark Corp. and Scott Paper Co., will join the Woodland Hills company’s board and serve as a strategic and operational advisor to management, the company said.

“This new round of financing combined with George’s experience and contact base in the plumbing, sanitary supply and paper channels will help accelerate our growth objectives as we continue to take market share,” said Chief Executive Jorge Maercovich in a statement.
