CSC Discloses $1.1 Billon in Contracts

Computer Sciences Corp. said Tuesday that it has signed 123 government contracts worth as much as $1.1 billion for its fiscal second quarter, which ended Sept. 28.


The El Segundo-based IT services firm said that 83 of the contracts, which accounted for about 90 percent of the total dollar value, came from the Department of Defense.


Computer Sciences said it will provide technology and business services for the Navy, Army and Air Force as well as logistical support for clients in the intelligence community.


The company added that 40 of the contracts, valued at about $200 million, were awarded by civil agencies. Computer Sciences reported nearly $15 billion in revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31.
