Spanish-language media firm Entravision Communications has purchased WNUE-FM in Orlando, Fla., for approximately $24 million.

Santa Monica-based Entravision already owns two television stations in the Orlando market, one a Univision affiliate and the other broadcasting Telefutura, Univision’s sister network for young Hispanics.

“We are very excited about further strengthening our Orlando cluster and increasing our leadership position in this fast-growing market,” said Walter Ulloa, Entravision’s chairman. “Given our existing media operations in Orlando, we are confident that we can operate WNUE-FM more cost efficiently while maximizing cross-promotion opportunities for advertisers.”

Entravision shares were down about 2 percent to $7.50 in trading on Friday.
