Simulations Plus To Change Exchanges

Simulations Plus Inc. said late Monday that its board of directors decided to switch its listing of common stock from the American Stock Exchange to The Nasdaq Stock Market effective Dec. 31.


The Lancaster-based software developer will retain the “SLP” ticker and added that the “decision was reached after careful consideration of capital market alternatives and analysis of the electronic market model, which provides added visibility to our investors,” Walt Woltosz, the company’s chief executive said in a statement.


Shares in dipped more than 14 percent Monday in trading on the American Stock Exchange. Shares have gained 73 percent. Shares have gained 73 percent so far this year.
