Falling equities, a declining dollar and a sharp sell-off in bonds across the world are straining investor nerves and reviving nasty memories of the bursting of the tech bubble.


Even red hot commodity prices took a hit on Monday. It is the second time in two months that global asset prices have been seriously shaken, primarily due to fears that tighter monetary policy will put the brakes on a roaring global economy. The question is: Are the good times for many investors over or is what is happening simply a shorter-term cooling down of previously rampant markets?
