DOWNTOWN HOTEL CELEBRATES SILVER ANNIVERSARY

A silver anniversary is always a major milestone. Perhaps nowhere is this more true than in the City of Angels land of the glitzy, glamorous, trendy and oftentimes fleeting. This is why downtown luxury hotel, the Hyatt Regency Los Angeles is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary in a number of unique ways.

Now through September 30th, the hotel is awarding guests an “Anniversary Upgrade” to luxurious Plaza Suites for an additional $25 (based on availability). Plaza Suites contain a separate living area and bedroom.

In addition, the 25th Anniversary celebration at the Hyatt Regency includes unique dining specials, offered in Brasserie, the hotel’s American Bistro restaurant, including $25 expansive lunch buffets for two featuring an array of fresh cold salads, hot soups of the day, hot entree selections and a design your own pasta bar. To follow with the “25” theme, the hotel’s Pavan Pacifico is featuring special 25th anniversary pre-fix dinners, all personal selections by Executive Chef Matt Smith, for $25 per person. Hyatt Regency’s Lobby Bar is even serving up weekly 25th anniversary drink and appetizer specials.

“Our 25 year success is due in large part to our ideal location in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, close to LA’s legal, financial, government and retail districts,” said Hyatt regency Los Angeles general manager Prank Lavey. “In addition, we are part of the Macy’s Plaza multi-use commercial and retail complex, and within walking distance of the newly renovated Los Angeles Convention Center.”
