Vice President Joe Biden will visit West Los Angeles today and East Los Angeles and downtown on Tuesday for a series of fundraisers, causing road closures that are expected to complicate afternoon commutes, the Los Angeles Times reports. Starting at 3 p.m., drivers today should avoid the areas surrounding the 405 freeway and Santa Monica Boulevard, as well as the area around Santa Monica and Wilshire boulevards. Starting at 5 p.m. today, drivers should avoid the area around Sunset Boulevard between Barrington Avenue and Mandeville Canyon Road.
