Viacom directors have vowed to fight back if ailing media mogul Sumner Redstone or his daughter Shari Redstone attempt to eject them from the company’s board, The New York Times reports. The directors wrote a letter pre-empting any moves by the Redstones and makes it clear that any removal would be inconsistent with Mr. Redstone’s wish were he acting without undue influence and underscores that any attempt to remove directors from the board would be inconsistent with his previous wishes for the media company.
