Verizon to Sell Wireline Assets in California, Texas

Verizon Communications Inc. has reached an agreement to sell its wireline operations that serve customers in California, Florida and Texas to Frontier Communications Corp. for about $10.5 billion in cash and assumed debt, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports.
