An executive cabinet overseeing UC Irvine’s student government has vetoed a decision to ban the display of the American flag and other flags, the Los Angeles Times reports. A student resolution adopted last Thursday by the Associated Students’ legislative council called for removing flags from the lobby area of student government offices.
