Tech Company Paid Indian Workers $1.21 an Hour

Fremont tech company Electronics for Imaging paid eight workers from India, working in the United States, as little as $1.21 an hour, the Los Angeles Times reports. The company said it “unintentionally overlooked” labor law and has agreed to pay $43,000 in back wages and government penalties.
