The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has approved a plan to award more contracts to small businesses, according to EGP News. The plan would aim to award 25 percent of the county’s total purchases to small businesses and business owned by disabled veterans by 2020.
The Department of Consumer and Business Affairs will develop a four-year plan to meet the goals, according to the outlet.
