In Wednesday morning trading, the Dow Jones industrial average dropped 335 points, or 2.5 percent, to 12,911.
The Nasdaq lost 77 points, or 2.6 percent, to 2,935.
The S&P 500 fell 37 points, or 2.6 percent, to 1,392.
The LABJ Stock Index fell 3 points, or 2 percent, to 134.
