The New York Stock Exchange and other markets reopened today following an historic two-day shutdown due to Hurricane Sandy.

The Dow Jones industrial average closed down 11 points to 13,096.

The Nasdaq dropped 11 points to 2,977.

The S&P 500 was up less than 1 point to 1,412.

The LABJ Stock Index was unchanged at 135.
