Some L.A. Officials Increased Water Use During Drought

Some San Fernando Valley officials who set the city’s water policy consume more than twice the water as the average Los Angeles resident, the Daily News reports. Valley-based City Council members Mitchell Englander and Bob Blumenfield actually increased their usage after Gov. Jerry Brown declared a drought state of emergency in January.
