Nike Inc. filed a lawsuit against Skechers on Monday, alleging that the Manhattan-based shoe company has infringed on its patented designs. In the lawsuit, attorneys for Nike said that Skechers has used and continues to use the designs of Nike patents without the company’s permission.
A spokeswoman for Skechers said that the company does not respond to pending litigation.
