Queen Mary’s Majestic Makeover

A downtown Los Angeles real estate company which this week took over a 66-year lease of the Queen Mary has big plans to develop the vessel and its surrounding land into a retail and entertainment complex, reports the Los Angeles Times. A giant ferris wheel similar to the London Eye is part of the masterplan being developed by Urban Commons.
