One of the largest Southern California trucking companies hauling goods to and from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach has filed for bankruptcy. According to the Wall Street Journal, Premium Transportation Services Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after taking several costly losses in legal battles with independent contractor drivers.
