Port of Long Beach Considers Raising Rates

The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners today will consider raising rates for noncontainerized cargo such as petroleum coke and automobiles by 5 percent, an increase that would take effect on Dec. 1 and generate about $1.25 million in annual revenue if approved, the Press-Telegram reports.
