Pinecrest Schools to Close

A private school that has become the largest family-held coeducational school system in the United States is set to close its doors, the Los Angeles Daily News reports. Pinecrest Schools, which opened 65 years ago in Van Nuys, will shutter its last five campuses at the end of the school year.
