Century City private equity firm OpenGate Capital announced Tuesday it has completed the acquisition of French distributor of building materials Bois & Materiaux from Zug, Switzerland-based plumbing and heating products distributor Wolseley. Terms were not disclosed, but OpenGate has said it will invest $28 million into the business in addition to the purchase price.

Media investment firm Saban Capital Group Inc. of Century City announced Thursday it led an $11.5 million fundraising round for Bustle, a New York news website for millennial women.

Downtown L.A. investment firm Oaktree Capital Management announced Thursday that funds managed by the firm had entered into a purchase agreement to buy Polish transfer agency support services provider ProService Agent Transferowy in partnership with funds managed by Warsaw private equity firm Cornerstone Partners. Oaktree and Cornerstone will purchase ProService from Dallas private investment firm Highlander Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed.
