Levine Leichtman Capital Partners of Beverly Hills announced Monday that one of its portfolio companies, luxury linens maker SFERRA Fine Linens of Edison, N.J., had completed the acquisition of Kaufman Holdings of Freeport, Maine. That company does business as Brahms Mount, a designer and manufacturer of home furnishings such as blankets and throws. Terms were not disclosed.

Ares Management announced Monday that a real estate fund managed by the Century City firm along with Newport Beach’s Citivest Commercial Investments had acquired two shopping plazas, Downtown Novato Center and Temecula Town Center. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
