PE Roundup: Private Equity Deals and Funds Announced This Week

Private equity firms Platinum Equity of Beverly Hills and Clearlake Capital Group of Santa Monica announced Monday that funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management will acquire Clearlake portfolio company AmQuip Crane Rental and Platinum portfolio company Maxim Crane Works. AmQuip is based in Trevose, Pa., and Maxim in Bridgeville, Pa. Both are crane fleet operators. Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Century City private equity firm Alliance Consumer Growth announced Tuesday it has made a growth equity investment in cookie-snack brand Cookie Chips, created by Gardena-based HannahMax Baking Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
