Legendary Entertainment chairman Thomas Tull announced Friday that veteran film executive and producer Mary Parent is the company’s new vice chairman of worldwide production.

Parent, who most recently was a producer on multiple Oscar winning film “The Revenant,” will replace Jon Jahsni, who departed Legendary to form Raintree Ventures, Deadline Hollywood reported Friday.

Parent’s previous positions include chief executive and chairman of worldwide production at Metro Golden Mayer and founder of Disruption Entertainment. She has been a producer on several big budget movies including “Pacific Rim, “Noah,” and the upcoming “Kong: Skull Island.”

Legendary, purchased by China’s Dalian Wanda Group for $3.5 in January, has an upcoming slate which includes the June 10 opener “Warcraft” and the Matt Damon starrer “The Great Wall” on February 17 2017.
