Pain at the Pump

Drivers in Los Angeles are paying an average 75 cents more a gallon than the national average, the Los Angeles Times reports. That is compared with a 30-cent difference a year ago. The higher prices are due to lower fuel production at California refineries, mainly the still-crippled Exxon Mobil refinery in Torrance.
